Better Parks Buffalo purchased the parcel in 2018 and sought to develop the land into a public recreation space, including a golf course and education center to serve the South Buffalo community. The land will now be the site of a solar energy project, with Source Renewables planning to develop a $30 million solar farm that will bring clean, affordable energy to local
